Welcome to our old Randleman Nastalgic Photograph's

I hope you will enjoy all of our old nastalgic Randleman area photographs that I have collected though out the years with the help of friends in and around town, such as, Mr John Wood (Now deceased) that lived in nearby historic New Salem, Miss Evelyn Story (Now deceased) the last Story to live in the old historic Story home place on Naomi street and Mr Gene Bulla (Now also deceased) that lived on Naomi street and owned and operated the one and only, and last meat cutting store in Randleman, N.C. "Central Store" on main street. Also, thanks to Mrs. Peggy Tysinger for all the Worthville area photo's.

I have had fun showing off these old photos to people of interest, sitting and reminiscing on the old memories that disappear so quickly in time. I can remember of most old places as I grew up in Randleman, and I remember so well of how everyone seemed to be happy to meet each other on the streets and gather in the stores such as the old Gray Lamb Store and have time to share their ideas and news of their time. Saturdays in Randleman was allways a thrill. Streets were filled with shoppers. Some shopping, some standing together on the streets talking and socializing. Several stores up and down the street had radio speakers outside their doors with Carolina Football playing in the air. The Old Fox Theater always tempted everyone with the smell of Popcorn in the air. Then finallly the pop corn smell would get the best of us and we would wind up in the Theater to watch the latest Wild Western Movie. After that all of us boys would go to our home and dodge all the Cow Pies in playing cow pasture football or baseball . Then next came a big wiennie roast in the back yard. I know that all of you can remember saying at one time or another, "O for the good old days".

I hope these old photographs can help bring back memories of "The good old days". ENJOY !!
